    The LASIK Vision Institute (LVI), a division of Vision Group Holdings, is a longstanding leader in LASIK technology.  Our exceptionally experienced surgeons, with the help of North America’s largest network of affiliated optometrists, aim to safely take away the limitations and inconvenience of glasses and contact lenses.  Our experienced independent LASIK eye surgeons have conducted over 1,000,000 procedures nationwide. 


    We are looking for an Ophthalmic Technician to work in our LVI Center located in Bellevue, WA.  Reporting to the Center Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join the World’s largest LASIK provider, and learn from and be part of an amazing team! 


    • Work with Center team to provide exceptional care to patients with pre-operative and post-operative procedures.
    • Calculate diagnostic data including K readings, refraction, visual fields, PAM (Potential Acuity Meter).
    • Document patient history and perform visual acuity and glaucoma tests.
    • Prepare laser room and instruments for surgery; wash and sterilize equipment post-surgery.
    • Enter data into laser and calibrate equipment for each patient; assist surgeon in OR during surgery.
    • Manage patient flow from pre-op through surgery to post-op phase.
    • Provide post-op progress reports to the surgeon and/or optometrist.
    • Monitor and maintain inventory of all medications and medical supplies.
    • Monitor laser room and clinic equipment; maintain records regarding equipment service, testing and safety according to company policy and procedure.


    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 1 year of Ophthalmic/Optometric experience.
    • Experience doing manual refractions highly preferred.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and care for patients/physicians.
    • Able to work independently in a highly effective, cross trained team setting.
    • Adaptable to implemented changes and able to follow processes and procedures. 
    • Patient service focused with pride in delivering a great patient experience. 
    • Excellent accuracy skills with strong organizational skills; must be highly attentive to detail. 
    • Willing to be cross-trained and fill in for other staff members with front desk responsibilities when required.
    • Comfort level working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, dynamic retail service environment.
    • Bilingual skills are highly preferred for this Center.
