    We are currently seeking a  Clinical recruiter to support our team! 

    These key partners will source, screen, interview and contract Optometrists and Eye Surgeons for all VGH center locations across the U.S., partner with our Director – Clinical Recruiting and our business teams to manage/drive doctor recruitment functions to include direct outreach, trade show recruiting, advertising, networking and medical/optometry schools to source the top medical partners for our exciting business.

    Responsibilities

    Recruiting

    • Effectively recruit for optometrist and eye surgeon opportunities within all VGH centers/brands.
    • Conduct pre-screen telephone interviews with doctor candidates from various sources. Compile information regarding education, experience, training, and salary requirements.
    • Recommend the best candidates based upon center needs; coordinate clinical phone interviews, and schedule in person interviews with the appropriate business and doctor partners, extend formal job offers, and negotiate Employment Agreement terms while adhering to legal guidelines.
    • Build and maintain doctor candidate pipeline for future doctor opportunities.
    • Report status of doctor candidate pipeline to Director and key business partners on a weekly basis.
    • Evaluate viable candidates in the pipeline for current open positions and based on needs submit requests for recruitment media to generate qualified candidates.
    • As a member of the Recruiting team, implement approved recruitment strategies, as well as identify and track the cost, benefit, and effectiveness of recruitment sources, activities, and initiatives.
    • Represent VGH at recruitment events, trade shows and board review presentations. Assist in coordinating recruitment events.
    • Partner with senior management and various departments within the Support Center to ensure smooth contracting transition and retention for doctors
    • Additional projects and/or responsibilities as assigned.

    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Must exercise diplomacy, discretion, sound judgment, and flexibility in varying situations, and must maintain confidentiality.
    • Knowledge of recruitment and human resources policies, procedures, and systems.
    • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent organization and time management skills required.
    • Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful, and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memoranda, and other documents.
    • Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions relating to assigned tasks and responsibilities.
    • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems software including, but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


    Qualifications

    • Three (3) to five (5) years of recruitment experience required, Optometry or other multi-site medical industry recruiting of doctors is strongly preferred;
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Powerful relationship building, and Recruitment sourcing skills required
